James and Karin moved to Clapton Manor sixteen years ago and have brought up their four children in the house.  James is a garden designer and historian.  As James Bolton Garden Tours Ltd he has organised garden tours to Europe for many years.  In 2008 he took over Border Lines, the leading garden tours company to private English gardens.
