Our guests have their own private sitting room with an open fire for cooler days. It is our favourite room in the house stuffed with books, television and comfortable armchairs and sofa.

There is fast fibre-optic WiFi all over the house.

All our guests are welcome to enjoy the garden. For many years we have both been enthusiastic gardeners. At school I was made chief gardening monitor! I can still be found crawling around on my hands and knees weeding, although it was a lot easier when I was younger.

James is a professional garden designer and we also have our garden tour company, Border Lines, the oldest private garden tour company in England, which offers tours in the UK and Europe.
