More about the rooms
There is a book-filled sitting room with a comfortable sofa and
armchairs. This is where we serve tea on colder days in front of a log fire and there is also a television. We have lots of up to date
magazines and a plethora of guide books and maps. We are always happy to help you plan your days whether it be walking or
visiting the local gardens and other sites. The dining room is dominated by a massive Tudor fireplace.
We are also extremely well placed for that early morning
run. Weather permitting we can also serve breakfast
outside on the terrace surrounded by flowers. Situated,
as we are, on the top of a hill, there are stunning
views as you run along the ridge to Sherborne and no
nasty steep hills unless you particularly want them! You
can walk, or run, out of the garden gate straight into
fields and follow the footpath signs on lots of lovely
walks.
